Taxonomic galleries

The images in these galleries are not portfolio images. Many (perhaps most) are far from technically perfect and not all the species depicted are particularly interesting, but they do represent a cross-section of the myriad of diverse life forms that have fascinated and enchanted me in recent years. And that’s what I’d like this part of my site to be… a simple and humble homage to the many-faceted life of this planet, in the sincere hope that somehow, someday, someone will feel inspired by these images to love and respect nature as intimately and passionately as I do. Please bear in mind that I’m not an expert, so although I consult with specialists to ensure the identifications in these taxonomic galleries are as accurate as possible, they should be considered as indicative only.
