Revelling in the light
Finally, after a long, LONG time, the rain stopped this morning. How to resist. More’s to the point, why resist? And I didn’t. Just a short walk among the nearby foothills and for the first time the sun was just hot enough to make both me and the birds flit and chirp happily. Maybe the light wasn’t really moody enough for “real” photographers, but oh how I revelled in all that light, not to mention the shadow.
And finally, for me the best photo of all… and you’ll probably be wondering why. Because I had just found a BEECH TREE where I never thought a beech tree could grow. And I just love beech trees. Now that’s the sort of thing that really makes me happy.
